Here’s what’s currently decorating my desktop:
NONFICTION:

I was surprised to find that one of my community libraries had this book. Most times I come up empty-handed with craft of writing books. So, I did an inter-library-loan, and picked it up this morning. I’ve only glanced through it so far, but it looks interesting, and I’m looking forward to applying some of these techniques to my revisions.
FICTION:

I’m picking my way through this book, not because I don’t like it, but because I’m trying to focus the majority of my time and energy on my revisions. I’m still waiting for my copy of Farrah’s book, DELIVER ME, to arrive, and have made a deal with myself that the book is a reward for when I reach the halfway point on my revisions. I’d better get back to work! ;)
CHILDREN’S:

A school friend of Scienceboy’s brought this book to school for show and tell, and my son had to immediately go to the library and see if they had it. The Spiderwick Chronicles is a 5 book series about a three children who live in a creepy house inhabited by trolls, goblins, faeries, and such.
We’ve been reading them at night and we’re almost done with the first book. I’d definitely recommend them. You can visit the Spiderwick website, to learn more about them.
Okay…I told, so now it’s your turn. What are you reading?

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I dropped by.:bag: I love the new look though!
I have a copy of Writing the Breakout Novel but haven’t read it. It’s in the ever mounting pile of TBR. One day I’ll be completely caught up. I hope.
