Jeez, it’ s
been quite a long time since I’ ve made a post here.
Lately, I’ve spent more time with a nail gun and hammer than I have on the computer/internet. We’ve been in our new house for 24 days now and I’m definitely loving it. There’s still a lot of work to be done, most notably finishing up the ceilings which is what we are pushing to get completed right now. In another couple of weeks, we should be good with that, and by the end of May, we should have the major stuff out of the way. So far, we’ve been doing a lot of living out of boxes, but you know, it’s still tons better than where we were living before.
Here’s a couple recent pictures of the upstairs:
This one is of the guest room door (on right). The other set of doors if for one of the upstairs bathrooms:

This next one is of the “game” room ceiling:

And now I need to rush off to pick Science-Boy up from school…..and then we’re off for a birthday dinner (mine!).

It has been such a long time since I saw walls done with that rich wood. It is gorgeous! I know you’ll be happy when everything is completed.
Good luck with those revisions on HOBE!

This is the house I have built for my wife and sons. Without you, I surely do not need this house.
Hurry Home, I love you!
