Howdy “out there” in blogosphere-land. I know, my blog has looked lonely and pitiful lately. Unfortunately, I’ve had a really stressful summer and the desire to blog (or even write) has seriously taken a dive. The good news is that I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. I’m hoping to at least plan a schedule for myself where I could blog at least 2 or 3 times a week, and put my focus back on my writing where it needs to be if I ever hope to have a career in writing.

My boys start school again on August 8th. It’s too soon! I love having them with me…and yet, part of me is looking forward to having a bit more time to accomplish household and writing tasks. Daredevil ventures into first grade this year, something that makes me a little nervous and a little sad at the same time. Science-boy will be taking the huge leap into third grade…and if he wiggles his front tooth a bit more frantically, he may be able to start the school year with the loss of his first tooth! Yes, he’s always been a late bloomer in the teeth department.
