I was starting to get sick of my old look, so I decided to give myself some inspiration for my new WIP with a fresh blog theme. I’ll be starting my new book in January and since it is set in the jungles of Cambodia, I tweaked this free WordPress theme with my own header design using some free stock photo images from the Stock Xchange. I still have to add in some of the features I had from my old theme (like smilies and such), and I really want to modify the rest of my site so it is completely WordPress manageable.
But, this is a good start, and it’s helping me look forward to a new year and a new book!
I know I’ve really slacked off on my blogging…I hope to do better in January! (Can we say New Year’s Resolution, anyone?) And, speaking of Resolutions, I’ll be back soon with a goals post for 2009.
The new look is great! When I changed my layout, I converted to managing my entire site through WordPress and I haven’t regretted it for a second. It’s so much more convenient!
