I’m a Golden Heart Finalist!

Author: So, I was lying in bed this morning…
I woke up about 6:00 a.m. and could not get back to sleep. Both home phone and cell phone were next to my bed, and I just tossed and turned, alternating between wanting the day to start and dreading it, because today was THE DAY. The day calls went out for the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart finalists.
So, I continued to lie there…
Awake…
And a few minutes after 8:00 a.m. my cell phone rang…
And, OMG, INTRUSION (look here for a teaser excerpt), finalled in the Golden Heart. I’m a 2009 Golden Heart finalist! Ack! It still doesn’t seem real.
How much you want to bet I don’t get a thing done today?

So, does this mean you’re going to Nationals? If so, maybe we can meet up. I’ll be the newbie who looks completely lost. :D
