Is there any sweeter word? I’m the kind of writer who absolutely hates writing first drafts. I want every phrase to be pretty/shiny, and when writing a first draft the point is NOT to worry about them being perfect. I’m too much of a perfectionist to be able to write without agonizing over each word. I’ve tried blasting out drafts. They make me itch.
Somehow, I always manage to get to “The End” and then, for me,
the real joy starts.
Revisions are freeing. I can spend all day on one sentence and no one can stop me. *gleeful laugh*
So, this blog post is just to say, I’m in the middle of revisions.
*happy sigh*

Hi Cynthia,
I won your Proposal Critique door prize at the Romance Divas NGTCC! I was thrilled to win, but after seeing this post on your blog, I’m double-thrilled. I love the editing process. I love writing a first draft as well, but I do fight the temptation to stop and edit along the way.
I’m looking forward to your critique.
Dawn M.
